GENERAL INFORMATION

Trans-Balkan Fund (TBF) is a private equity fund that belongs to the international network of funds managed by SEAF. It was established in December 2000, and has operations in Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania. TBF has USD 7 million investment capital exclusively for Bulgaria. It provides long-term financing (equity and quasi-equity capital) as well as business support to growth-oriented, private SMEs in Bulgaria. TBF Bulgaria has already invested its capital and therefore does not make new investments any more.

TBF Investors: US Agency for International Development, IFC (World Bank Group), Norfund (Norwegian Investment Fund for Developing Countries), Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), Finnfund (Finnish Fund for Industrial Cooperation) and SECO (Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Economic Affairs).
