CARESBAC BULGARIA

Caresbac Bulgaria is a venture capital fund supporting the entrepreneurship through long-term financing of small and medium sized privately owned enterprises. The investment capital was committed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Caresbac is managed by Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF). Caresbac has already invested its capital and does not make new investments any more.

Caresbac invested its capital to 23 companies in Bulgaria, as the most popular are Darko – an ice-cream producer, Pain d’Or – a bakery, and Ken – a meat processing company. The other companies work in the food processing industry, agriculture, textile industry and light industry.
